Others are coriander, lavender, rosemary, caraway seeds, cinnamon, lemongrass and butterfly pea flower, and hemp. Priced at Rs 999. Best enjoyed with tonic water.
2. SATIVA: Goa’s newest gin Satiwa labels itself as a “happy high gin”, a nod to hemp, the key botanical in the spirit.
Satiwa is created at Naveen Distilleries in Margao, having teamed up with a Russian distiller to fine tune the recipe. The process took three months and involved as many as eight iterations! Recommends drinking it with rosemary, grapefruit, or a slice of orange. It works well with plain soda or regular tonic. It doesn’t need much to enhance it,” says Sahil the onwer of Sinq and Sativa
